The museum quarter of Amsterdam in the Netherlands is a neighborhood that’s located in Amsterdam-Zuid. The area is bordered directly byVondelpark and Stadhouderskade. The easiest way to reach this area is to the tram lines such as 2, 3, 5, 12, 16 and 24 which all pass through the neighborhood.

Throughout the museum quarter are number of attractions including the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Vondelpark, city tours and walking tours are available throughout this area as well as for the various museums and attractions.

The Rijksmuseum for example is one of the largest museums in the Netherlands and it tells the story of the history of the area. It suggested the tourists spend at least three hours in this building to see the numerous artifacts enclosed within. The van Gogh Museum is one of the world’s largest collections of Vincent van Gogh art pieces and this experience is suggested that one to two hours for tourists.

The neighboring Vondelpark is a world-famous park design that has stood since the 1850s and it has since become one of the most popular places to escape city life and find peace and quiet within the city throughout the museum quarter.
